I was watching a TV show called Destroyed in Seconds on the Discovery Channel today and they were showing a flip with a winged Sprint car at Williams Grove Speedway. It knocked a track photographer out but fortunately he was okay. I got to thinkin' with the great group of open wheel fans, flagmen and track photographers we have on this site if you ever had a close call while taking pictures, flagging a race or just being at the wrong place at the wrong time while at a race.

Got any photos from that 59 to 65 era?
Jeff
Thanks,

THANKS FOR THE INVITE! I DO HAVE PICTURES OF MY DAD AND SOME TRACKS, MOSTLY BUTLER MOTOR SPEEDWAY AND MANCHESTER SPEEDWAY. I WILL HAVE TO GET BACK WITH YOU ABOUT HAROLD. DO YOU KNOW WHERE HE RACED OR WHAT HE RACED? OR WAS HE INVOLVED SOME OTHER WAY WITH RACING?
I REALLY SHOULD BE WORKING BUT THINKING ABOUT THE RACES IS MUCH MORE INTERESTING! I SPOKE WITH MY DAD EARLIER TODAY. HE WAS THERE THAT NIGHT AND THE BROTHERS WERE THE VALENTINE BROTHERS. DID YOU GO TO MANCHESTER WHEN IT WAS OPEN? DO YOU EVER GET TO BUTLER, OR OTHER TRACKS?

This was the highlight of my trip to meet my wife's family in Indiana. Well, also the bribe to get me to go.Jeff
