What I miss
Sure do miss seeing and hearing those offy midgets at Spanaway Speedway in Washington State. I saw a 1949 midget with knee action shocks beat a brand new car in the feature in 1971. The flag person was a beautiful young lady in a short cheerleader type outfit. and she was a great flagperson.

I don't think I would liked racing with a flag "person" like that Harvey. Might have been too much of a distraction....but ...I would have been first in line for start/finish line seats.

And her husband was a driver and he recieved NO special treatment. Didn't need a trophy girl
